FINALLY BRONZE FUSION 

PROGRAM OF DRAWING, NUDE AND SCULPTURE

Drawing: Preliminary exercises in order to learn how to design and work with lines and shadings, plans and volumes; identify the artists' personal language to allow them to express their own artistic potentiality. Study of figure, faces, hands and feet with magnified details; study of figure in motion and expressions between fantasy and reality; study of drapery and scenographic composition; study of nude with real models.

Tecniques: Pencil, sanguine, china, charcoal drawing, “quadrello”; method for measuring an object in a panel.


SCULPTURE: Preliminary exercises to learn how to model, copy from plaster casts with plasticine, medal study in plasticine, study of portrait in clay, method to hollow a sculpture before burning it, study of nudes (360°), study of animals, silicone and wax modeling and retouch, lost wax bronze fusion with ceramic, made in specialized foundries

TECHNIQUES: Plasticine, clay, refractory, silicone for model, wax for fusion, fusion in bronze. 

All extra personal materials, (models in silicone, fusion in bronze, etc.) are not included in the students’ share.

The Sculptor Prof. Mario Pachioli will be in charge of the course.

The method aims to give the student skills in all the design and sculpture techniques to allow him/her to express his/her own artistic potentiality.

The courses vary from one, three, six or nine months.

REGISTRATIONS FOR THE COURSES OF DRAWING, NUDE AND SCULPTURE ARE OPEN DURING THE WHOLE YEAR. STUDENTS CAN START THE SELECTED COURSES AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH

NO MORE THAN 12 STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED IN EACH COURSE

DURATION OF THE COURSES: one, three, six, or nine months

DEVELOPMENT OF THE COURSES: from Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week

TIMETABLE: from 10:00am to 01:00pm
